BRADL IS IN FULL TRAINING MODE AHEAD THE FIRST 2014 TEST
After the exciting 2013 season and before the engines roar again in 2014, LCR racer Stefan Bradl enjoyed his well-deserved Christmas holidays but he proceeded his winter training in different ways to be at 100% for the first testing session in Sepang (in early February). The 24-year-old from Munich flew to South France for a special training programme with 3-time World MX Champion Yves Demaria. He spent Christmas day at home with his family and friends but afterwards he headed to High Performance Centre in Barcelona (CAR) where he trained motocross and trial until the 30th.
Stefan: “When the season is over, it’s nice to be back home to rest but we (riders) can not loaf for long. We miss the speed and, as a professional MotoGP racer, it’s mandatory to train in the winter break to be at the top physical condition for the first testing session. Obviously I spent the Christmas period with my family in Germany, but I kept on training: first in the South of France with Yves where I enjoyed one week of motorcross, flat track, endurance etc.. it was demanding but I had fun. Then, I moved to Spain for a dedicated physical test at the CAR in Barcelona and afterward I jumped back on the bike trying the trial discipline for the first time ever. Now I am proceeding with gym, running, bicycle etc… here in Germany because the first test is just around the corner”.
