TOUGH QUALIFYING SESSION FOR STEFAN BRADL IN JEREZ
Despite an unlucky start into the weekend in Andalusia, the German MotoGP rider felt sick today. Due to the hot weather condition in Jerez it was double tough for Bradl and his Crew to prepare for tomorrow’s race at the Circuito de Jerez, round four of this year’s World Championship. Beyond his physical condition Bradl experienced issues with his bikes again, so therefore he will start from P19 on the grid tomorrow.
#6 Stefan BRADL (Athinà Forward Racing, Yamaha Forward), Grid position 19th – 1´40.166 (3/7):
“We had a lot of different things to try today because we missed one session yesterday. Our workload was quite busy so during this morning’s FP3 we worked mainly on the electronics but also on chassis side before we changed our strategy for FP4 in order to prepare for the race. During qualifying practice there were something wrong with the bike we used. So we need to analyse all data but I expect a better race performance than we had on practice days and we just need to try to be as fast as possible in order to improve our position which is really poor at the moment. Beyond all that difficulties I feel quite sick which of course hampered us to qualify better than in P19 today.”
