UPDATES FOR SAN MARINO GP

Stefan Bradl looks forward with high expectations to this weekend’s round 13 of the 2015 MotoGP series at the Italian circuit in Misano.

Bradl, who crashed out of the race at the British Grand Prix last time in Silverstone whilst fighting for a good points scoring finish in extremely difficult conditions due to heavy rain, was able to work on different changes to his Aprilia RS-GP machine during the race weekend in England. Despite that knowledge Bradl will use a new frame this time in Misano for the first so he is more than eager to start the San Marino GP as this race is Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s home round too.

#6 Stefan BRADL (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, Aprilia) – World Championship Position 20 (11 points):

“Honestly speaking, the tension for this race weekend is much greater than usual. Apart from that fact that the condition of my right wrist has made further progress in the two-week break after Silverstone, I’ll use a new frame this weekend for the first time. In addition, the Misano track has been completely resurfaced for which I look forward to the track conditions now. And beyond that, Misano is the home race of my team so this Grand Prix is really a very special occasion for all of us and we look forward to it with high expectations. Recently in Silverstone I was able to test some different changes to the bike and in doing so we made a good job. In addition to the new frame I mentioned already, there are some further updates which Aprilia will bring to Misano so I’m even more anxious to continue working with my crew. Misano is a great track that I’ve always liked and the atmosphere at this race is fantastic too. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming weekend.“
